Atelier Talks: Patterns & Motifs

As part of our ongoing Atelier Talks series, Patterns & Motifs brought together designers, creatives, and curious minds for an afternoon dedicated to exploring the language of pattern in design.

Together with our textile designer, we explored how patterns are composed, different types of patterns and motifs, and the meanings and effects they can bring to interiors, objects, and everyday environments. Following a short inspiration presentation, we moved into the hands-on part of the workshop, where each participant created their own pattern by combining and reinterpreting different motifs.

The final designs were then transferred onto tote bags, turning each composition into a personal piece to take home, a small memory of an afternoon shaped by creativity, exchange, and making together.
