Every design, in its essence, calls us into a journey. This time, the desire to reinterpret our roots through a timeless aesthetic led us to the ancient landscapes of Mesopotamia, the silent and profound lands where humanity’s first stories were written and culture was carved into stone.

As you walk through narrow passages framed by centuries-old stone walls, a soft melody reaches you from afar. It might be the steady rhythm of a coppersmith’s hammer, the warm echo of an Erbane, or a whispered prayer rising gently between church bells and the call to prayer. This is Mardin, a city where sunlight engraves its legacy onto stone, a living tale of heritage and memory. For us, as the Ndesign Design Team, this journey was not simply a search for inspiration.

It was a pursuit of emotion, cultural memory and identity, a desire to reconnect with the roots that shape who we are. We wandered through the narrow streets and took refuge in the shade of the Abbaras. We listened to the stories of artisans and felt the patience in their hands.

We lost ourselves in the scents of the bazaars, tasted local flavors, and were moved by the generosity and warmth of the people. The city’s textures, its sounds, its fragrances, its light and its spiritual depth did more than inspire us.

They deepened our design process, infused meaning into every piece and brought the details of Ezora to life. These moments became the invisible layers of the collection’s soul. Ezora emerged as a contemporary design narrative that reflects the magic of peace, harmony and coexistence, a timeless bridge between ancient heritage and modern living.
