A quiet reflection of light, material, and cultural memory, the Shemsa Coffee Table Set draws inspiration from the sun and its presence within the architectural landscape of Mardin. Taking its name from the meaning “sun,” Shemsa captures the gentle interplay of light and shadow across the city’s historic stone streets and stairways, translating this atmosphere into a refined contemporary expression.
Available in natural solid wood and composite travertine, Shemsa explores the contrasting qualities of material, texture, and form. The rhythmic arrangement of its sculpted surfaces creates a subtle interplay of depth and shadow, recalling the layered stone architecture of Mardin. Each material brings its own character to the design, from the organic warmth of wood to the refined, stone-like texture of composite travertine.
Shemsa embodies the tranquility of sunlight and the enduring beauty of natural materials. Understated yet expressive, the two complementary pieces introduce sculptural rhythm, warmth, and a sense of serenity into contemporary living spaces, carrying the quiet essence of Mardin through a timeless design language.
