ICFF Editors Award in New York
The Taht Vanity stands as a defining milestone in our design journey, honored with the ICFF Editors Award in New York.
Designed by Hale Betül Güleç, Taht was selected by a jury of international editors for its originality, innovation, and emotional impact, a recognition reserved for the most exceptional designs showcased at one of the world’s leading design events.

This award-winning vanity gracefully complements the Taht Bedroom concept, which draws inspiration from the poetic tradition of sleeping under the stars on Mardin’s rooftop terraces during warm summer nights. In Mesopotamian culture, the traditional “taht” a wooden-framed platform layered with cotton mattresses and wrapped tightly in white cloth has long symbolized not only daily life, but cultural identity.
In the early hours of dawn, these white forms resting upon Mardin’s terraced architecture resemble gentle sails drifting across the Mesopotamian plains, an image deeply rooted in the region’s collective memory. Building on this rich heritage, the Taht Bedroom Collection reinterprets cultural memory through a contemporary lens.
At the heart of the collection, the award-winning Taht Vanity transforms these inspirations into a functional work of art. Its refined wooden lines and delicate woven textures echo the warmth and serenity of Mardin nights, while offering elegant practicality for the modern living space. The global recognition received at ICFF highlights not only the design excellence of the vanity itself, but also the conceptual depth that defines the entire collection, a narrative where cultural heritage and contemporary design meet with thoughtful harmony.
